rom ME, Take Rt. 95 South to Exit 5, Take first exit to the Rt. 1 bypass and stay in the leftlane for the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. Exit Circle on Rt.1 South, at sixth set of lights turn left at the Exxon station leaving it on your right.
ollow this road (Elwyn Rd.) until it intersects with Rt 1-A. This is a three way stop, go straight and stay on 1-A South for approx. 8 miles and there we are on Rye Harbor, look for the flag out front. Note: Saunders is about 2.5 miles South of Wallis Sands State Park.

to Exit 2 or maybe it's 4 and follow signs to traffic circle/ Rt.1 then same
course as above.
ake Rt. 101 East to just past I-95 interchange Exit
onto Rt. 27 Hampton. At end of exit turn right onto Rt. 27 East. Stay on Rt. 27
until it ends at the ocean (approx. 3.6 miles). You are now at Rt. 1-A Turn
Left and take Rt. 1-A North approx. 5.3 miles until you come to Rye Harbor...
and you're at Saunders Restaurant.
ake Route 95 North Take Exit 2, (at the Hampton Toll
Booths) When you come out of the remote toll booth, take the left fork, this is
for Rt. 101 East (formerly Rt.51). You will be on 101 East only for 1/2 mile or
so. Exit onto Rt. 27. At end of exit turn right onto Rt. 27 East. Stay on Rt.
27 until it ends at the ocean (3.6 miles). You are now at Rt. 1-A Turn Left and
take Rt. 1-A North approx. 5.3 miles until you come to Rye Harbor... and voila
you're at Saunders. |
